Relationships first, always
Dr. Patel is a general dentist with 18 years of clinical experience in comprehensive care — examination and diagnosis, restorative treatment, preventive care, and periodontal (gum) management. She took over this Fremont practice in 2012, continuing a dental home that has served this community since 1971.
Her approach is simple: know your patients well, explain things in plain language, and let long-term health drive every recommendation. Hers is an independent, solo practice — no corporate ownership, no rotating cast of providers. You see Dr. Patel herself at every visit. Many of her patients are the children — and grandchildren — of her first patients, which is exactly how she believes a dental home should work. For patients who specifically prefer a female dentist, that preference is warmly welcomed here.

What she does
Comprehensive care for every age
As a general dentist, Dr. Patel cares for a whole family in one place — a child's first cleaning, the fillings and crowns a tooth may need over the years, a night guard for grinding, and whitening when you want it. Gum health runs through all of it.
She keeps care within general dentistry and refers out the occasional treatment a specialist is better suited to, staying involved in the plan when she does. The aim is long-term health, and the decision stays yours.
Education & credentials
The training behind the care
Dr. Patel earned her dental degree at Boston University's Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, then completed a residency in advanced general dentistry at the University of the Pacific — training beyond dental school that widens the range of care a general dentist can provide. Her undergraduate degree, from UCLA, is in psychobiology.

A California native — born in Orange County, raised in the Central Valley — Dr. Patel has practiced in Fremont since 2012.
She previously served as the volunteer dental provider for Kerry's Kids at SAVE Shelter. She is a current sponsor of Fremont Girls Softball, and in past years the practice sponsored baseball teams and City of Fremont events. Each year, during Children's Dental Health Month, the practice gives presentations at elementary schools.
